I’ve not been inspired to write lately- unless you count the six-page post I recently completed on my gluten, sugar, and dairy-free journey. I guess I’ve been in a bit of a funk. I mean, with everything going on in the world right now, I suppose that’s understandable. I had a very productive day today. I washed, dried, folded, and put away four loads of laundry. (I know, right?) I also washed the dishes- which I must admit is not a daily thing in my house, sadly.
After my cleaning spree, the kids and I ran five errands which included trips to Walmart and Winco. After unloading and putting away the groceries, I cooked a very simple dinner for the kids and took a bath.Continue reading The Beauty of Tomorrow
All these letters I’ve been posting lately really make me realize how broken I was for five years. Today on the way to church I was listening to “Waymaker”– which, by the way, is one of my favorite songs, and if you’ve never heard it, I highly suggest you take a listen- and I was thinking back about how God has been working in my life.
One part of the song says,
“Even when I don’t feel it, you’re working.
Even when I don’t see it, you’re working.
You never stop, you never stop working.”
That part really resonates with me because oftentimes, I can’t feel or see God at work, but I know he never stops working.
